  Just found an old copy (1977) of The Book of Lists by David Wallechinsky and Irving & Amy Wallace. Here it is: The life span of a lake sturgeon is 152! Most landed on space in Monopoly? Illinois Avenue--according to computer analysis by an Iowa professor of mathematics in the '70s. The Book of Lists is addictive and I love this old copy--I know the answers to many of the lists have changed. For example, The 14 Worst Human Fears. In the '70s they included public speaking, heights, bugs, financial problems, deep water, sickness, death and flying. What do you think is on the list now--in 2011? |
